My personal values Values are those things that are important, meaningful and valued by an individual, a group of people, or an organization. Whether we are aware of them or not, every individual has his or her core set of values, which consist of many different kinds of values.

My personal values act as a basis for distinguishing between right and wrong and thus, determine my daily actions and emotions. My mom and education have played profound roles in the development of my core personal values: personal integrity, responsibility, and ambition.

Personal values of an individual may be sourced from and be influenced over time by one’s personal experiences in life, the media, family, technology and the way they are socialized. However, personal values that are learnt in early childhood may survive the test of time as one grows up and hardly fade away.
